Some of the blessings in Mishna Brachot Chapter 9 are said upon encountering rivers, the ocean, thunder, lightning, hills, deserts, and meteors. Some of these aspects of nature are constant. Some are unpredictable. To say a blessing for each of these things reminds us that both stability and change come from a Divine Source. When we can recognize that, we can become trusting that we are “safe in this moment.” All is happening exactly as it needs to be.

A miracle is something that happens which confirms

We’ve got arrogance, hatred, guilt, and dishonesty
